Here is a great stuffing recipe that you can use to prepare your thanksgiving meal.
8 to 10 cups – Bread Cubes
1/4 cup – Butter
1 cup – Chopped Onion
2 cup – Chopped Celery
1 teaspoon – Salt
1/4 teaspoon – Pepper
1/4 cup chopped rosemary thyme and sage
3 eggs
1/4 cup milk
My suggestion is to use fresh bread because using dry bread can easily result in a soggy stuffing that’s simply too light to enjoy; more of a custard!
Make sure to soften all the ingredients (including melting the butter and cooking the vegetables a little bit) before combining them.
Preheat oven to 350F. Combine all ingredients except eggs and milk in a baking pan. Bake for about 10 minutes then pour beaten egg and milk mixture over the entire dish. Should be ready in approximately 30-45 minutes of baking – you should be able to see if it is ready or not.
Feel free to add some nuts and berries to the mixture to give it a special taste that your family will love; I left them off the ingredients list due to issues with allergies.
